MST Order management system: MST Order Management Team is a Part of the Merchandising Department and is responsible for providing Support to the OM group of applications such as FEDBUY (Purchase Order Generation), BOU (Bloomingdales order Upload),MOU (Macys order upload) and A2B ( Affinity to Buy ) by interfacing with the Pricing, Product Data group and ON hands CEB and EDW applications.

·   Responsible to come up with the complete impact analysis document for the existing BUY system.

Home DB Legacy Modernization: Currently the property master file data is getting stored in BDAM files with policy information as an index segment. All the I/O functionalities of the BDAM database is handled using the Assembler modules. As part of Home Database Modernization project it is decided to modernize the existing Home Master database. A new IMS database will be created. New IMS database will serve as the new home policy database going forward. New IMS I/O modules will be designed to handle the I/O functionalities in the new database.  New pre renewal and renewal selection processes will be designed to handle the pre renewals and renewals in the new IMS database. New IMS programs will be written to do one time conversion of policy data from old BDAM to new IMS database. New purge process will be designed to handle the policy purge process in the new IMS database.

·   Responsible in providing the proposal to convert the BDAM to IMS/DB2 database with the help of solution design team.

·   Responsible to come up with the complete impact analysis document for the existing system for BDAM changes.

Also introduce streamlined coverage packages and new product features which would improve their ability to win agents and consumers. Wipro worked with the customer to upgrade their Homeowners product. A new homeowner’s class plan was introduced called Home Advantage rate plan. HA would be one rate plan that applies to all business segments and channels that the customer will write new business in.

Hartford writes the insurance business thru individual agents, Employee program called affinity and also through AARP. Various development and maintenance projects being worked on to support the Homeowners and fire dwelling policy administration system.

529 college advantage plan initiatives: This was a project, which was implemented, in different phases. Many of the bookkeeping that Putnam was doing would be taken care by OTTA, which includes Tax calculation, Tax correction, 1099Q form sending etc. For OTTA to do this task, it is required to know all the details of customers, accounts, and transactions stored/happening at Putnam side. Also, a participant could directly perform a transaction by going to OTTA site. Both Putnam and OTTA system should be in sync and regular (daily) feeds have to be sent between OTTA and Putnam to accomplish this task
